The Canadian Transplant Association
The Canadian Transplant Association (CTA) was created in 1987 to raise awareness about organ donation and celebrate the success of transplants in saving lives.
Members of the CTA are transplant recipients, donors, and their loved ones. They are concerned people of every age who understand that transplants save lives. They are dedicated activists, working to spread the message and educate the public about the importance of organ donation.
The CTA is active in promoting good health and participation for transplant athletes in events such as the Team Transplant dragon boat team, the Canadian Transplant Olympics and the World Transplant Olypics.
